I attached my sparkle tag to a card. I love, love, love it!!  I entered this card in Tic-Tac-Toe challenge at http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.ca/2013/09/paper-players-challenge-165-tic-tac-toe.html
My tic-tac-tow went right across the middle: Patterned Paper, Embossing and Any Shade of Blue.
In my craft room today I created this tag. I have entered it into the "Sparkle..Baby"! challenge over at catherineandcathycreate.com.

Here is a close-up of the rosette flower that I attached to the tag.

I love this tag and I just might attach it to a card and keep it for myself!!

Today, in my craft room I created this beautiful card. I spend more time thinking about what I am going to create than on what I actually create.Below I have included some pictures and I will attempt to tell you how I made this card through pictures.

I used a 5" x 7" card base for this card. I cut a piece of patterned cardstock 4" x 6 3/8". I cut about 1/2" off the front flat of the card (what is going to be the bottom of the front). I then cut another coordinating piece of cardstock 1" x 7" and attached it to the bottom of the front flap.

I then inked the entire edges of the card base with SU Strawberry Slush ink. I masked over the detail on the bottom of the front with post it notes to protect it from getting ink on it..

I then completely covered the patterned cardstock with wide "tulle like" ribbon. I completely covered the front of the cardstock with glue stick and adhered the ribbon. I glued the ends on the back with snail.

I then cut a piece of SU Strawberry Slush ruffled ribbon 6 3/8" and adhered it near the bottom of the front.

I then inked a 3 1/2" paper doily with SU Strawberry Slush Ink.

I then cut a paint color chart 1' x 8 1/2" and fringed the edge. I made sure not to cut right through. You can see in the picture below how I did this. I then ran snail runner along the length of the paint chart where I did not cut through (this will keep the roll in place). I then started rolling from the lightest end, making sure to keep the roll tight.

Then I started pulling the fringes down to flatten out to make a flower. I inked the edges of the "petals" with SU Strawberry Slush and stuck pink pearls in the center.

Lastly I assembled the card together and used embellishments to finish off the card. Here is a close up look at the "tulle like" ribbon on the card and the finish it gives the card.

I had a whole lot of fun making this card and I think I will enter it into the "Terrific Texture" challenge over at http://www.catherineandcathycreate.com/2013/09/ccc-008-september-cards-challenge.html.

This week has been very busy for me and I have not been blogging on a regular basis. When I create something I will post a blog to show you what I have done.
Today I have been working on a couple projects. An anniversary card and a couple notebooks for stocking stuffers. Yes you read right "stocking stuffers"! You can never start too early for stocking stuffers! I find that it takes a lot more to fill them up than you realize. Anyway, I am rambling on and on..lol.  Here are the projects that I did.

I am entering the Anniversary card in a challenge over at http://www.catherineandcathycreate.com/2013/09/ccc007.html. Check out their site they have some wonderful ideas going on over there!

This is a card I made today. ( It is never to early to start on your Christmas cards!!) It is the first time I have worked with vellum and I must say I think it turned out very nice!!
